'Fading glory' - looked as if it had been a good hotel but isn't anymore.
Not a very good breakfast though the fruit was p;entiful. Long delays- it took nearly an hour on the first day

« Horrible »
Le bâtiment est plutôt joli, et la piscine est un plus.
A peu pres tout... On a l impression d embêter le personnel, habitué à être devant la télé ou le téléphone, car il y a très peu de monde... Et pour cause ! Une chambre vieillotte, aucun équipement, pas de lumière en dehors des lampes de chevet, pas de frigo ni de bouilloire, et lorsqu on en demande une, on nous répond qu il faut acheter du thé au bar... Et gros point noir : le restaurant ! Un endroit presque fantôme, une carte avec des produits qui nous donnaient envie.. mais à chaque envie une déception : ils n ont quasiment rien de ce qui est sur la carte !!! Nous avons fini par demander ce qu ils avaient ! Le service est horriblement lent, même quand on commande un simple soda... Ménage de la chambre très insuffisant, les draps ne sont pas changés tous les jours, pas d aspirateur pour une chambre avec de la moquette, il a fallu chaque jour réclamer une bouteille d eau et des produits de toilette, qui pourtant devraient être mis chaque jour... Pas de prise électrique disponible pour charger son téléphone, il faut déplacer la table de nuit, débrancher la lampe de chevet ! Après avoir demandé un sac et le papier avec les tarifs, nous avons avons oublié l idée de faire appel au service de blanchisserie... Le sac ne nous est toujours pas parvenu une semaine après la demande.... Bref un séjour horrible, avec tout de même une personne qui nous redonnait le sourire : l un des cuisiniers fait tout ce qu il peut pour nous, et va par exemple chercher des croissants (qui figurent pourtant sur le menu) à l hôtel d en face pour nous faire plaisir ! Un manager qui se fiche des clients, souvent personne à l accueil... Par contre au moment de notre départ, aucun souci, la facture était prête ! En résumé, surtout fuyez !

Overpriced with abandoned post-apocalyptic vibes!
Clean and comfortable bed, lovely view of the pool.
Very tired, in need of a face lift and some TLC. Was extremely overpriced. I stayed in the beautiful 4* boutique hotel Heaven in Kigali for much less! The hotel had post-apocalyptic vibes! I was the only guest when I arrived, it's a large hotel, which felt like it had been abandoned many years ago, was tired, quiet, echoey corridors and quite souless, which is a shame as it has potential. The staff were pleasant but kept asking for my number and stared at me as if I was the first guest they'd seen in years (which may have been true!), felt quite uncomfortable and eager to leave. I was the only one at breakfast, in a dim, empty room, with tables that looked like they'd been laid years ago in another era! I wouldn't have been surprised to see Miss Havisham sitting in a rocking chair in the corner! Although quite sparce, the room was clean although no mosquito net and had buzzing little blighters around my head all night! Bathroom was fine but tired and bare. Wouldn't stay again unless it was a lot lower in price.
